Hey Kai. I read in another question that all of the drums were recording using on microphones, and that only the bass drum was triggered.

What is that green cord coming from the snare, and the cable coming from the tom?

Also, what kind of mics are those?

yes!

those are triggers to use for the gates to open.but the toms were recorded with microphones and used on the album as they are acoustically..
i hate triggers anyway in everywhere else than bassdrums.
and there i mix both the mic sound and a little bit trigger..
but on the first wintersun album itīs only the trigger sound that worked..
